What is Bladder Cancer?

Bladder cancer is the 6th most common type of cancer. The first symptoms of bladder cancer can include:

• lower back pain
• painful, frequent urination

Often, health care providers will prescribe a type of treatment called BCG immunotherapy. BCG treatment does not work for everyone. More options are needed for people with bladder cancer.
